Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Moire. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Moire is a macOS and iPadOS application that helps you transfer and synchronise photos between supported services and local storage. You may use Moire for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Moire connects to third-party photo services on your behalf. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

3. Your Data

Moire does not upload your photos or personal data to our servers. All data — including sync configurations, event logs, and authentication tokens — is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for the content you transfer using the app.

4. Intellectual Property

Moire and all associated branding, design, and code are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other intellectual property.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Moire is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Moire, including any loss of data or photos.

Moire is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of Moire after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
