Data Deletion Instructions

Moire stores all data locally on your device. There is no Moire account and no server-side data to delete. The instructions below cover every location where Moire may store your data.

Disconnect a Provider

To remove a connected service (Google Photos, Facebook, S3, etc.) and delete its stored credentials:

1. Open Moire on your Mac.
2. Go to Settings (⌘,).
3. Select the provider you want to remove.
4. Click Disconnect and confirm.

This removes the OAuth token for that provider from your Mac’s Keychain.

Delete Sync Entries

To remove a sync configuration and its associated event log:

1. In the Moire sidebar, right-click the sync entry you want to remove.
2. Choose Delete.

Clear Event Logs

To clear the sync history for a specific entry without deleting the entry itself:

1. Select the sync entry in the sidebar.
2. Open the Event Log tab.
3. Click Clear Log.

Uninstall Moire

Uninstalling Moire removes the app and its local data container, including all sync configurations and event logs. Any OAuth tokens stored in the Keychain must be removed separately (see above) before uninstalling, or can be removed via Keychain Access:

1. Open Keychain Access (found in /Applications/Utilities/).
2. Search for Moire.
3. Delete any matching entries.
